Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Khalid Pervez, is a graduate of DOW medical College with a post graduate degree in Public health and Health Care Management from College of Physician and Surgeons Pakistan. Dr. Pervez has worked in Primary Health Care in Iran for 6 years, and with HANDS for 10 years. His many achievements include:
• Asia Pacific Leadership Training Program by The University of Hawaii
• Working with the International Red Cross to develop training material and
monitoring tools for community based health & First Aid used in 16 districts of
Pakistan.
• Developed and implemented many projects including Adolescent
Reproductive Health (World population Foundation), Maternal and Neonatal
Health (PAIMAN), and Early Child hood development and School Health
Screening (UNICEF)
Dr Pervez has personally trained more than 350 male and female doctors throughout 5 districts of Sindh (AKF and JHPIEGO).
Dr. Pervez’s core belief that empowering communities, through raising health awareness and delivery of quality health services at primary and secondary level, can achieve a better quality of life is his main reason for joining the Sehat First Team.
